Born in Norwich, Democrat Larry Pemberton is a longtime Montville resident. He’s a son, husband, father of four amazing children, and a community organizer. Larry has spent his life supporting the region in various work capacities in human services, hospitality, administration and transportation services.

 

Larry is a proud member of the  Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation, where he has served as a tribal councilor since 2015 and as treasurer since 2022. 

 

Larry will be the voice for the future of our communities. Having young children, he understands firsthand the struggles working families face each and every day. As state rep, his priority will be offering solutions to the affordability crisis in America. Child care and the importance of early educational opportunities are important to Larry. He will be an ambassador for small businesses and making sure they are valued. Larry will always fight to make sure our communities get their fair share from Hartford.
